Being on time actually requires that you arrive early. 15 minutes early should be the general rule. This will show the employer that you manage your time well and are ready & prepared. Keep in mind, this rule also applies to completion of assignments and tasks. 3Commandment #2 Call in when running behind schedule or when absent.

To give your employer a heads up is a common a courtesy. This will allow them to make arrangements for coverage in your absence. 4Commandment #3Distinguish Yourself.

Know what youre good at and become known as the go to person for it.5Commandment #4Anticipate problems and needs and be proactive.

Be a problem solver. Your employer will be grateful. 6Commandment #5Have a positive attitude.

No one really wants to work with a negative person. It brings down company morale. 7Commandment #6Avoid office gossip.

Remember what goes around, comes around. People have much more respect for those they can trust. 8Commandment #7Follow the rules and company guidelines.

Good leaders always start out as good followers. 10Commandment #9Do not criticize the boss or organization.

This is especially true in regards to using social networking sites. Its just bad business and reflects poorly on you. 11Commandment #10Volunteer to take on new tasks.
