MY NAME IS [INSERT NAME] AND I [GIVE/VOLUNTEER] AT [ORGANIZATION NAME] BECAUSE:

RETURN TO: BY (DATE):

Examples: My name is Meredith and I support Community Health Charities because I know how important good health is for a good quality of life.

My grandmother lives two states away from me and was having a hard time leaving her house because her health was beginning to deteriorate. As a result, she spent most of her days just sitting in front of the television. When I went to visit her one summer and discovered the state of her life, I knew something had to change.

Thankfully, there was a local nonprofit that could come pick her up from her house and take her to the community center for seniors. Now, she participates in several activities daily and is making friends with other center members. Her spirits are soaring and my heart is full because of it.

My name is Trenton and I volunteer through Community Health Charities because I love being able to see first-hand how lives are changed through the programs and nonprofits supported by the contributions of others.

One summer in high school, I was able to volunteer at a local preschool for children with developmental disabilities. We spent the entire summer building an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) approved playground.

The days were long and the sun was hot, but the smiles and laughter from the children on that first day they were able to use the playground made all the tired muscles worth it.
