How to Load VMware vSphere

Client onto a PC

Schneider Electric 2- IT Business- SmartWare Tiger Team Leader

First log into the ESXi host using your web browser.

In this example we are logging into ipaddress 10.218.45.20


If asked select Proceed anyway!


Click Download vSphere Client


Once the file has been downloaded navigate to the folder the installer was saved to and double click the exe to launch the installer.


When asked select Run and the extractor will appear.


Select the language for the installation and click OK.


You will see the files being extracted.


Select Next


Select I agree to the license agreement and select Next.


Enter a user name (default is Windows User) and Organization andselect Next.


Select Next or select change to install the application to a different location.


Select Install.


The vSphere Client is now being installed.


Select Finish and the client is installed.


You will see a shortcut has been added to your desktop.

Click on the shortcut and the login window will launch.
