DAMAGED WATER HEATER

When you are without hot water, that situation represents a setback very annoying. There are

elements of water heaters that are easy to repair and replace. Water heaters with traditional linear

voltage controls have common controls and elements of 120, 208 and 240 volts. 

First, you need to check the electrical panel to make sure that the switch is in the on position.

Check if fuses are installed securely and not blown. Reset the switch

again to the ON position. Replace the damaged fuses and wait an hour for the water to warm. If water does not warm up, you must continue to

inspect the heater.

If you do any electrical work on the electric water heater, you must disconnect the power supply, to

avoid hazards associated with electricity. You should also shut off the water and open the hot water

RUSTY CABLES

The oxidation is unavoidable, even when the wiring is

isolated. This problem can cause potentially fatal electric shocks. Also, the rusty wiring

may cause warming and melting of isolation; it can also generate burns with fire risk. The charred areas indicate a

short circuit. Replace the burned and rusted wiring.

Resistance is the most technical element of the electric water heater. If the electrical

Usually, the water heater emits strange sounds. You should check if

clean them when you hear this kind of noise.
