Use your assigned PACS user name and password. For first time users of the Centricity PACS, your initial password is Changeme1. The system will prompt you to change your password upon initial logins. Logins are case sensitive and between 8 -12 characters is the required minimum and needs to include 1 Upper case, lower case and number. Do not use special characters . 3. A Security Certificate window may appear if you have not installed the vendors & HMC/UWMC Thawte certificate as a trusted site.: 4. Click View Certificate. 5. Click Install Certificate. IE will install the certificate for hmcradweb50.medical.washington.edu or uwradweb.medical.washington.edu in the Root Store as a trusted site. Once logged in and this is the first time you’re using Centricity Web 3.0 on your home PC, you need to have Administrator privileges to install the Centricity Web ActiveX controls. Your IE will automatically install the required components.

INSTALLATION GUIDE

1. Launch Internet Explorer and navigate to https:/hmcradweb50.medical.washington.edu/ami/html (HMC) or to https://uwradweb.medical.washington.edu/ami/html (UWMC/SCCA)

HOW TO SEARCH FOR PATIENT IMAGES USING CENTRICITY WEB 3.0

1. From the Centricity Web 3.0 login window, login using your PACS account. If you DO NOT have a PACS account, call UW IT Services Helpdesk at 543-7012 and request one.

2. To search for a patient, in the Patient Name field, type the Patient’s Last Name, First Name and hit Enter on your keyboard. You can also search by MRN by typing H+MRN.

3. Drag the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the window to see otherfilterable columns, i.e. Date of Exam.

4. Double click on the line for the exam procedure desired to be displayed. Your patient’s images will now be displayed with thumbnails for each series on the left side of the window. To change the layout click on the layout button’s on the top of the screen.

5. To view the report for the exam click Report.

6. To go back to the Exam Procedure list for the patient, click on Worklist.

7. For window leveling function – Right click and hold down, then move your mouse vertically or horizontally. To get more tools, right click on the image and then release.

8. To log out click on the X on the upper right corner of the window.
