How-To separate the audio and video tracks Follow the “To produce your video clip for your web site” up to the point where the audio and video are in the Storyboard. 1. Go to the File menu and choose “Save Audio As”.

2. Choose where to save the audio track “Save in”. 3. If not already selected use the “Save as Type” drop down box and choose WAV. 4. Change the name in the “File name” box and click “Save”.

Camtasia will then save the audio track.

5. Select the entire Storyboard

6. Replace the audio with silence.

The audio track is now blank.

7. Using “Import Media …” import the previously saved audio track.

8. Hide track “audio 1” by un-ticking it.

9. Show track “audio 2” by ticking it.

10. Drag n drop from the “Audio Clip Bin” your previously imported audio file.
