This list will be marketed to taxpayers to help them determine who is qualified to prepare their taxes.!
• Taking the AFTR will give you eligibility as an unenrolled preparer to represent your clients during the examination of a return in 2015. !

• You will gain a certificate from the IRS.!
How to Qualify in 2014!• Have an active PTIN.!• Complete 11 hours of CE
(Since the AFSC program is being implemented a6er mid-‐year in 2014 the 12 hour CE requirement for 2014 is prorated and for 2014 only). !– 6 hours of the Annual
Federal Tax Refresher (AFTR) course (with a required comprehension test at completion)!
