The easiest way to make new friends and get involved in student life at USQ is to join one (or 10) of our student-run clubs and societies. There are currently over 50 USQ affiliated clubs ranging in focus from sport to cultural and special interest. There are also a number of faculty and course-related clubs to help you get to know other students who share your interests, and you don’t have to be an on-campus student to participate! If you don’t see a club that takes your fancy (we’re still waiting for the Chocolate Lovers’ Society) it’s only four easy steps to setting up the club of your dreams. So, you’ve had a look at the clubs and societies directory and the club you want to join doesn’t exist. The first step is to complete the ‘Clubs and Societies Expression of Interest’ form. You can collect one from Phoenix Central or download it yourself. Note: You will need a name for your club, be able to describe its purpose and have at least 10 members (50 % must be current USQ students or staff).
