What all is required: For this experiment you need:

• Liquid fool coloring• Liquid dishwashing soap• Plate• Milk• Cotton swab

• Pour some milk in the plate and let it settle.• Add a drop of 2to3 food colors in the milk. The drops should be added close to each other.• Dip one end of the cotton swab in the liquid soap and place the end in the milk and hold it.

You will find that the food colors move and a riot of colors are being formed. What really make the colors move?

THE FLOATING EGG

What is required: To perform this experiment you need:

• Two glasses of water• 2 eggs• Salt• Water • Spoon

• Fill one glass of water upto the brim and drop an egg in it. This egg will sink at the bottom.• Fill another glass half and add 5 spoons of salt and dissolve it. Then fill the rest of the glass with water. • Now drop an egg in the 2nd glass with dissolved salt. You will see that the egg does not sink but will float.

What all is required: For this experiment you need

• Cooking oil• Plastic bottle• Food coloring• Disprin tablets• Plastic bottle

How to Perform Bubbling Lava Lamp Experiment

• Fill the bottle with water around a quarter• Add food coloring drops to the water• Now pour cooking oil and fill the bottle• The oil and water will not mix and will form separate two layers. Wait until this happens• Divide disprin into two and put one part in the bottle.You will see the magic happening as it will form bubbles.

NO GRAVITY WATER

What all is required: For this experiment you need

• Piece of cardboard• A glass of water completely filled

How to Perform:

• Place the cardboard on the mouth of the filled glass with water.• Turn the glass upside down• Slowly take away your hand holding the cardboard. • If things work fine then the cardboard will stop the water from flowing out of the glass and the water should stay where it is.
