How to Upgrade from Version 1.9to SST version

Backup Before Upgrade

Backup

• We strongly recommend to perform a backup before upgrade.

• Login to your AutoCount Accounting 1.9 Go to Tools Backup.

• We strongly recommend to perform this action in Server PC.

• While waiting for backup, you may download the installer from: https://wiki.autocountsoft.com/wiki/SST_Download_Links

• The following screenshots shows how to perform backup

Click on Browse to define the location to backup tp

Upgrade

At Server PC

• Having downloaded the installer, double click on it to install AutoCount Accounting 1.9 SST version

• Complete the installation and login the Account Book that you wish to upgrade.

• Please follow the following screenshots steps on how to upgrade.

Step 1 Double Click to Run the downloaded installer

Step 2 you will be prompted a wizard, click Next

Step 3 choose your path, or just click Next

Step 4 confirm installation, click Next

Upgrade

Step 5 License Agreement, tick “I Agree” and click Next

Upgrade

Step 6 Installation in progress, wait for it to finish

Upgrade

Step 7 once installation completed, click Close

Upgrade

• A new icon will appear on your desktop –AutoCount Accounting 1.9

• Double click on this icon to launch AutoCount Accounting

• The usual AutoCount login screen will appear, login your Account Book

Upgrade

System will prompt a DB Upgrade screen, Click YES.(Note : Please make sure there is no other user accessing this Account Book during database upgrade.)

System will prompt a Confirmation to upgrade, click YES.

Login successful. You may proceed with your work now.

After upgraded the Server, proceed to upgrade each of the Client PCs following the upgrade Step 1 – Step 7.
