So how do you stand out? How do you use social media to benefit your business and not simply create useless posts and pictures/

Next title your broadcast. This is EXTREMELY important because it is what people see before they decide to click. Just keep it engaging and remember this is SOCIAL media not the one sided annoying conversation that businesses and “social media experts” keep perpetuating. No one likes to be with someone who constantly talks about themselves, talks over others or doesn’t ask any questions so why would anyone think it would get them customers on a platform called “Social media”? Seriously, I scratch my head. When was the last time you sat down and read The Yellow Pages or any other book that is 100% advertisements? And yet that is exactly what 100% of business owners put on social media 100% of the time. “Buy my product.” “Look at my juicy steak.” “Visit our convenient location.” “Like us so we can show up in your news feed and sell you more things.” It really is overwhelming to be a consumer and all these businesses would need to do is change a word or too to say “What do you know about this product?” or “What is your favorite way to cook a juicy steak?” or “What is the first thing you see here at our convenient location?” and “”Do you want to like us? We like you and often give free gifts to people who like and share us!”

Make it sound more like a conversation and you will get better quality engagement and therefore loyal fans of buying from you not just random people who “like” everything they are asked to like and never buy a thing.

Asking questions will open the door for conversations, brand interactions and actual sales down the road.

You wouldn’t show up for a first date and say, “Let’s sleep together” ….although you may want to. Try using the same finesse you would use to date when you take to social media. I know it is difficult because everyone else is doing it wrong and you really have no role-model but if everyone else jumped off a bridge…..

I recommend taking the time to be different or insist that your social media “expert” start In this age everyone has already gotten a zillion, trillion gagillion likes and followers and as is with everything with a tipping point, now the pendulum is beginning its heavy swing back in the other direction.

Now is the time for you to shine and your business to stand out in a

I went to a friend's restaurant/lounge last night and was so aggravated that in his absence his servers were taking out their phones and interacting with their own social media while on the clock and neglecting the social engagement for the man who was paying them.
