participants using only your telephone

This puts the first call on hold and gives you a second dial tone

More than 3 participants

To host larger conferences (up to 24 participants) you will need to use our Sonexis Conference Manager bridge

You’ll want to schedule your conferences in advance to insure there are sufficient conference ports available at the time.

The best way to schedule a conference is using the Sonexis button in Outlook

What do I need to do?

To schedule Sonexis conferences you need:

Sonexis software in your Outlook Verify you see a Sonexis button in Outlook If not call the TAC at ext 1046, provide your computername

A conference ID assigned to you by the TCO Email [email protected] Provide your NPS office extension, computername, and

department Your Conference ID and initial PIN will be emailed to you Log into http://blueridge.nps.edu and change your PIN Configure your ID and PIN in Outlook the first time (details

follow)

Sonexis Button in Outlook

No button? Call the TAC ext 1046

First time use – you’ll need to provide the Conference ID assigned by the TCO

In Outlook select– Tools / Options– Sonexis tab

Provide your– Conference ID– PIN

Server URL is– http://

To schedule a conference click the Sonexis button

Same form as typical Outllook meeting, with the addition of a

Conference Details tab

Inviting attendees the same as you would for a typical Outlook meeting

Attendees are sent a meeting request with details (email to non-Outlook users)

Deleting or changing a meeting in Outlook also cancels your conference call reservation

Conference ID, you can start an unscheduled phone conference anytime “on the fly”

From off campus call (831)656-6500 – (ext 6500 from internal phones)
