• Go to www.GoArmyEd.com and log in to your account using the Username and password you received when you opened your account
How to View Your Degree Plan
After you have complete 6 hours of course work we will get prompted to upload your Socad Agreement into your GAE account. Your Socad Agreement is basically your Degree Plan. This allows GAE to do a couple of things. 1. It allows them to make sure that you are not taking classes outside of your degree plan. GAE does
not pay for classes that are not needed for the completion of your degree. 2. It allows them to track your progress on specific classes to be sure they don’t pay for a class that
you have already passed. In some situations you need or may want a higher grade in class even though you did not fail it. GAE will not cover the cost of this class.
A Socad Agreement is not something that you can do yourself. It has to be done by the university. We review your transcripts as well as the courses you have already completed at APSU and we create a Plan for you to know what you still need and what you already have. You can also do this in your APSU oneStop by doing a degree evaluation. But you should make sure from time to time that your GAE and your Degree evaluation off of your oneStop match up. For us to complete your Socad agreement we will need to have ALL of your transcripts. If we are missing transcripts from any part of your Educational history we will not be able to complete the Socad agreement.

Once you have logged into your GAE account this will be at the top of your
screen. This are called smart links. You will click on the “Student Agreement/Degree
Progress report smart link.

This will take you to a screen that gives you a little more information. You will always want to
read this information incase there is any changes about the degree plan that you need to know about. You will then click the “Please click
here to view the SOCAD Student agreement/Documented Degree plan”

When you click on that link you will see this screen come up. This is a break down of all the classes
that you need to complete your degree plan. You can tell what has been completed if there is a
number out beside it in each box. (i.e a 3 which represents that there are 3 credit hours completed
for that class)

Notes: Reading one of these can be sort of complicated when you are not use to it. Below I will explain some of the terms you seen in the screenshot above.
• “Req Hrs” = Required hours for that particular section or class. • “Res” = Hours you have taken or are currently taken with APSU. • “Trans” = Hours that you have taken at other Universities. • “MOS” = Hours that transferred over from your AARTS (Military Service) Evaluation. • “SH Remaining” = Hours you have left to take from a given section or particular Class
Requirement.

On Some cases students have to get what we refer to as a paper Socad. That is where the university creates your degree plan from the
ground up because it is not a degree plan that GAE is familiar with. In that case the process will change just a little. You will still click on the link
below.

When you click on that link it will take you to a screen that looks just like this. You will want to be sure and click the
eFile tab to ensure that you can see the information you are going to need.

Now you will want to find your most recent Socad Agreement. Generally this will be the one closest to the top but that is not always the case so be sure to check the dates. Then
you will click on that Socad Agreement.

This screen will then pop up. If you are just wanting to view your
degree progress then just push open. If you are needing to view it later you can save at that time and
open at a later date.

This is what your screen will look like when it opens. As you can see it is very
similar to the first one it is just more condensed and there is more information on 1 page. But the meanings are the same
and the set up is very similar.
