How To Wash ClothesBy Kristen Hughes

Step 1

• Divide your clothes into two piles- darks and lights (or if you’re like me and don’t care, don’t separate!)

Step 2

• Put your clothes into the washers drum

Step 3

• Add your desired amount of detergent. For small loads, fill the cap up to the first line. For medium to larger loads, use a full cap.

Step 4

• If you use fabric softener, add it to the designated spot on the side of your washer. Or if you don’t have that spot, use a dryer sheet in the dryer!

Step 5

• Once all your clothes and soap are in your washer, close the lid.

Step 6

• Turn your dial to whichever setting is relevant. (Small, medium or heavy loads, gentle or intimates).

Last step!

• Once you get your setting for the wash load, you are all set to go to push your start button!
