Experience the universal language of music withthe Howard County Concert Orchestra (HCCO)—Howard County’s only professional orchestra!Enjoy our uniquely themed programs featuringsome of the region’s finest musical talent.
Formed to provide Howard County with a completelyprofessional orchestra, The Howard County ConcertOrchestra (HCCO) is dedicated to exceptional performances of classical music from the Baroque era to the 21st century.
This chamber orchestra is different from a symphonyorchestra—composed of a smaller number of musicians, from as few as eight to as many as 45 professionalmusicians selected from a wealth of regional talent.
HCCO has the versatility to perform music writtenoriginally for smaller forces as well as music writtenfor larger symphony orchestras, but with greater clarity, highlighting the unique sound of each instrument and bringing an intimacy and attention to detail not otherwise possible.
