Camera • The camera angles used help us portray Rosie as
someone who feels she is being watched. We did this by making the proxemics of the two characters far apart to show they have no real connection with each other.
• The movement of the camera is to reflect the movement of the girls so the audience get an idea of their pace and how they are moving. Suggesting her panic.

Narrative • Rosie is walking through a park eating an ice
cream with her friend and then gets shot. • The enigma is wondering why the man has
killed Rosie. • The audience is positioned with Rosie as we
witness her death through her own eyes. • We expect Katie to help track down the killer
and find out why Rosie was killed.
Character • The costume of the school uniform connotes innocence
and youth suggesting she is the protagonist in this situation.
• The key props are the ice cream to represent that it is a broad daylight, to make the killing seem even more daring. It also reflects innocence and contrasts with the gun making her appear even more vulnerable.
• Her hair and makeups natural and young to reflect her youth to make the killing seem even more brutal.
• The acting portrays a feeling of being watched as well as innocence to the situation.
Setting • The establishing shot is of the park in the first
scene with the title. • The overall thriller is set in a park to show how
light hearted the character is. It is also set in modern day times.
• The important features are the long winding paths as that is where the murder takes place.
Frightened Editing • The shot where Rosie walking along the path we have
her from a distance as well as from behind her to represent that she is being observed and watched, emphasising her vulnerability.
• We have an eye line match of her perspective of the killer to absorb the audience in her death.
• There is a cut to her dropping the ice cream to show this will be a key factor after she dies. We also felt it reflects her loss of innocence as she is about to die.
• Her reaction just before her death is important as it is a look of confusion to show that she does not know why she is being killed.
Narrative • Isaac is watching the girls from a far and then
shoots Rosie when the times right. • The enigma is wondering how the man would
know when to attack as well as the reason fro him killing her.
• We expect the killer to get caught.
Editing • The editing of close ups show that he is
mysterious. • The close ups include the close up of the gun, his
eyes and his feet to reveal him to the audience bit by bit. The fact he is being revealed slowly emphasises that he is the antagonist and has cruel intentions for Rosie.
Setting • The scene is set in the same park on the same road. We felt
the empty space would make him appear most dominant as they are the only two in the whole area.
Character • The all in black costume connotes an element of
mystery and evilness. • The key prop is his gun that makes him appear more
powerful and in control. • His slicked back hair and pale makeup emphasise that
he is a professional and has don’t this before. • The acting portrays that he is a sneaky, skilled killer
who preys on little girls.
Camera • With the camera angles we felt the angle from behind the tree would be a point of
view shot to resemble that he should not be watching the girls as he is hiding to make him appear predator like and sneaky.
