Proving the value of IT Information technology (IT) executives are becoming increasingly aware of the need to prove the value that IT provides to the organization. Doing this means creating a performance-driven culture. In most organizations IT has lots of data, but it has to pull, cleanse, consolidate, and correlate that data in a timely manner that is relevant to management decision- makers—and that’s the hard part.
