DESCRIPTION- HQ series electric actuators are speciallydesigned for quarter turn applications such asball, butterfly, plug valves and dampers,

- With a wide range of output torques andcontrol options the HQ series electric actuatorcan be configured to meet the demands ofany site specification.

- High-grade electrical components, alloygearing and a high-pressure die castaluminium housing ensure reliability and

- Manual override with lockable de-clutch lever,- Mounting base to lSO5211 standard.- Removable drive bush can be machined to suit valvestem.

- Four limit switches are standard.(Two-volt free contacts)

Standard cam and limit switches

Gam block and limit switches (Option)

- 4 cams and 4 limit switches arranged as block.,2travel limit switches for operation.. 2 auxiliary limit switches as dry contact for customer usage.

- Each cam be set independently.

Terminal block

- Extra capacity for customers convenience (Max22 points).- Proven reliability and tight wiring connection.- Stripped length: B-9 mm / 0.33 in(2.5mm'z)- Terminal dimensions: 10 x22x32mm

Heater

- 7-10W ceramic anti-condensation heater.- Thermostatically controlled.

Captive cover bolt

- Cover bolts are captive for site safety.- All external bolts are manufactured in stainless steel.

- Orientation of visual indicator is factory set.- Indicator can be adjusted by simply gripping it and rotating.- Spring washers underneath the indicator maintain the new set

Slot on window cover for draining rainwater

- Slot helps rainwater to drain away, keeping the window clearand increasing 'O' dng seal life.

Tapered interface between cover and housing

- Tapered interface between cover and housing preventsmis-alignment and damage to 'O' ring sealing system.

Torque switch

- Toroue switches are wired in series with the motor.- Any excess mechanical bind will trip the switches and cut

power to the motor, preventing damage to the gearbox andoverheat ing.

Removable drive bush

- Drive bush is removable and can be machined to suit mostvalve stems.

- Four locating lugs provide a strong and accurate connectionbetween the actuator output shaft and drive bush.
