    3 major classifications:

    1. Basic organizational policies : relating to the principles,managerial philosophy and fundamental objectives of the organization.

    2. General policies : relating to organizational activities personneldevelopment & creation of appropriate work climate .

     

    3. Specific policies : relating to job description , analysis & evaluationof fundamental objectives, proper communication system ,determination of wage rates on the basis of performance.
