ProblemThe Georgia Aquarium is opening a new

exhibit. They have requested your teams assistance in designing the new exhibit. Your team will need to pick an aquatic species to show in the new exhibit and what is needed in order for the species to live and thrive in its new home.

Your team will need to complete the following tasks: Brainstorm the planning process for designing a new exhibit (cost, how much

water can concrete support, environmental factors, natural history of the animal, etc...)

Research an aquatic animal of your choice. Answer the following questions about your aquatic animal: - Scientific name - Life expectancy - Dietary need - Habitat needs (include temperature of water) - Behaviors - Predator/prey relationships - Conservation - Size - Threats - Fun facts Research the chemistry of water. Solubility curve of NaCl Water filtration for your aquarium (150-300 gallon) Parameters to maintain (pH, salinity, temperature, specific gravity, dissolved

oxygen) Cost analysis for your exhibit to include delivery costs (freight and customs) Drawing/scale model of your exhibit to include the water filtration system A model of your exhibit. Presentation to the board of the Georgia Aquarium.
