    electronic balancing unitBEST BALANCE; a quickand easy balancing of thetoolholder complete withtension rod and toolaccording to the ISO1940/1 standards.For machining up to 8,000 RPM it is sufficient to position thecounterweights at 0° and at 180°.

    of spindle bearings life;• considerable extension

    of tool life;• improved accurancy and

    surface finish;• drastic reduction of

    vibrations and noise levelof the machining centre.

    High precision monobloctoolholders for machiningcentres, balanceable forhigh speed machining.

    QUALITYTOPRUN toolholders aremanufactured andguaranteed by design,manufacturing and salesprocedures according to the ISO 9001 standard(certification no. 166/98).Arbors are manufacturedwithin tolerance AT3 andthe concentricity with thetool seat is lower than0.003 mm.

    BALANCINGFor high speed machiningwith TOPRUN toolholders,the two counterweights inthe graduated groove(patented) have to bepositioned following theindications provided by the

    machines according to the ISO 1940/1 standard.From the value of themaximum admissibleunbalance level “G” andthe spindle RPM, the value“e” can be calculated,corresponding to thebalancing defect(expressed in g´mm/kg) orthe toolholder runout(expressed in µm).The patented TOPRUNbalancing system allows a

    quick, easy and accurateachievement of highbalancing standards of the toolholder, within0.5 g´mm/kg, without any need to remove or add material.Specifically, the originalunbalance “U” of the tooland toolholder isneutralized by theresulting centrifugal force“C” produced by the twobalancing masses “T1”

    and “T2”. The operator isguided by the BESTBALANCE balancing unitfor the appropriatepositioning of the twomasses.The TOPRUN toolholdersare essential for highspeed machining and theywill enhance machines andmodern tool’s performance,extending life andimproving qualitystandards.
