Dynamics and precisionMechanical drive systems have a basicdisadvantage: a loss of precisionmust be accepted to achieve a highlydynamic configuration. This effect isnot relevant for customers in auxiliarymotions such as tool changing oraxial positioning. An HSC machinechanges the situation: During cuttingcontrol, high dynamics must be com-bined with great precision. This iswhere the linear direct drive showsall its advantages.

Precision ITM - the breakthrough in tool measuring

ITM (Intelligent Tool Measurement)ITM tool measurement registers theentire tool tip up to ø 12 mm onmodern imaging sensors.
