BACKGROUNDIn Norwegian litterature during the period from 1860-1900 we count four leading writers:

•Jonas Lie•Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson•Henrik Ibsen (A Doll's House)•Alexander L. Kielland

Alexander Kielland was born 150 years ago this year.  This causes for a celebrationOne way of marking the occation is a information system.

PURPOSE

• There will be made an information system with a multilanguage user interface. The system is supposed to contain material about and by Alexander L. Kielland:   his life, work and publications.

• The system will partly contain digitized documents (full text, photos, sounds), partly references to such documents and partly linking to other information sources.

• The system shall reach as many as possible form children to researchers. The system must give a fast and easy access to the data.

encyclopaedia;
