2 Hardware and appearance
2.1 Why can't I swipe the touchscreen properly?
2.2 Why are the black edges of the screen so visible?
2.3 Why is there only one receiver on my tablet?
2.4 Why does the screen freeze or malfunction?
2.5 What is the protective lens of the rear camera made of?
2.6 How much pressure can my tablet, touchscreen, or LCD resist?
2.7 Why does the screen color seem abnormal?
2.8 What can I do if the screen has a red or yellow tint?
2.1 Why can't I swipe the touchscreen properly? There may be stains on the touchscreen or your fingers, increasing resistance on the
touchscreen. It is recommended that you attach a protective film to the touchscreen for a
better user experience.
2.2 Why are the black edges of the screen so visible? Various optimization solutions have been tested to make the black edges of the screen as
obscure as possible. To guarantee product reliability, prevent the screen from glue chipping or
cracking during use, and obtain a beautiful product profile, the size of the black edges have
been reduced.
The black edges are visible because of the screen structure and assembly process techniques.
The width of the black edges on your screen can guarantee the reliability of your tablet.
The black edges of the screen on some tablets may seem very narrow because:
1. Both the gap between the LCD and front cover and the area where the front cover and
touchscreen are attached is reduced. This will sacrifice product reliability, resulting in glue chipping or cracking on the screen, and most importantly bad user experience.

2. Ink is painted on the black edges with the same color as that of the screen glass.
Therefore, the black edges will look very narrow or even invisible when the screen is on. This will widen the frame of the tablet and affect the tablet appearance.
2.3 Why is there only one receiver on my tablet? The receiver and speaker are integrated together to save space, and will not affect the normal
use of your tablet.
2.4 Why does the screen freeze or malfunction? This may be caused by third-party applications.
Recover the screen by performing the following operations:
Turn off the screen, wait for 30 seconds, and then turn it back on.
Restart your tablet.
Uninstall risky third-party applications.
Update the software to the latest version.
Restore your tablet to its factory settings.
2.5 What is the protective lens of the rear camera made of? The protective lens is made of PC/PMMA (MR58). Do not apply strong force to the lens to
avoid damage.
2.6 How much pressure can my tablet, touchscreen, or LCD resist?
The touchscreen and LCD can resist a pressure of 10 kgf when subject to force from sharp
objects, for example, an iron rod with a diameter of 8 mm. The camera can resist a pressure of
4.5 kgf. If the entire tablet is pressed by a heavy object, it can resist a pressure of
approximately 60 kgf.
Tablets are precision electronic products. To prevent damage to your tablet, do not press the
touchscreen and LCD strongly with sharp objects, press the entire tablet with heavy objects,
or sit on it.
2.7 Why does the screen color seem abnormal?
Your tablet incorporates an LCD screen that is manufactured by an industry leading supplier.
Before leaving the factory, each screen is strictly tested to meet the Huawei standards.
Check whether Color correction is enabled. Go to Settings > Advanced settings > Accessibility > Color correction and turn off Color correction.

7.1 Why does my tablet fail to scan a bar code or QR code?
7.2 Why can't I set up Do not disturb mode?
7.1 Why does my tablet fail to scan a bar code or QR code?
Ambient light conditions and device movement during scanning attempts affect the quality of
scanned images. It is recommended that when you are using your device to scan a bar code or
QR code, scan it in a bright environment, hold your device steady, and make sure your device
is close enough to the code to ensure a clear image. These will increase the recognition rate.
7.2 Why can't I set up Do not disturb mode?
Problem:
When users add a new do not disturb rule for events and select Any calendar, they still
receive a notification at the time of the scheduled event in the Calendar.
Cause:
The Do not disturb mode does not support the existence of two event rules at the same time. A
new tablet already includes a do not disturb rule for events by default. If you add one or more
event rules, this will result in the phone being unable to enter Do not disturb mode.
Solution:
When you add a new event rule, delete existing rules to ensure that only one remains.
