Dwnload these 4 .rar files, just extract the fist file(*.part1.rar) to a folder, then install it.

If there aren't WinPcap and Wireshark software on your computer, please install them first.

After installing the software successfully, When I use the software, for example, start the router

CLI screen is shown loading the router but my MS windows informs that the application must be

terminated, and stay indefinitely.

I've tried on WindowsXP SP3 and Windows 7 SP1, all 32bits, problem is same.

Can anyone help and solve this problem?

Thank You,

Hi Sr. g00211126,

Yes I am posting the error, but the messages are in Portuguese, The translation is "The

eNSP_DEVICE.EXE stopped working" and "Look for solution online and close the program" or

"Close Program".

If I close this box after a few seconds it is shown again. Below is the screenshot of the screen

with the detail of the error.

hi hk47jr

we have made it clear what is the cause of the problem.

you need to open the command line window as administrator, and then input command " lodctr /r

".

this command used to reset the counter in your system.

please contact with me if it still will not work.

Hi,

is it possible that your eNSP simulation utility dosnt work on windows 7 x64-bit systems??

Page 10: huawei simulator.pdf

ive got the same problem as hk47jr

i am sending a screenshot with the error (in german) and Visual studio in the background with

was started in debug mode because the crash of eNSP:Device.exe...

i guess that is because i am using the 64-bit version of windows 7 but i have no possibilitys to

test it with an 32-bit version right now. please check that and inform me.

eNSP seams to become a good tool whats remainds me on cisco pacet tracer but with the

possibility of connecting a real network interface and sending real packages it could become

much powerful.

Please fix the error end add some nice features like

- DHCP client at virtual computers

- automatic arp resolv of mac addresses

- simulated web server and clients (just as much as packet tracer)

greetings treaki

congratulation, the huawei forum is sizing the picture down to much, you can find the full sized

picture here:

Hi!

It finally worked for me with the same error: the thing is that you have to type the command

several times (4 times for me) from the moment of starting your device (I close the pop up

window everytime it appears, don't know if it really helps, but it works).

Reply 15 #

technically, you just need to type the command once.

maybe you need to close the eNSP first, and then type the command in the command line

window as administrator.

at last, restart the eNSP.

Page 20: huawei simulator.pdf

In windows 7 environment presents this message of successfully, the environment windowsXP I

received another the message, but the problem is the same, continues to request the closure of the

program.

I know it may seem impossible, because in your environment is working, but see that the

problem is occurring with several users (in different languages of windows).

I am available to help you in testing and remedy the problem.

I'm sure that this tool will bring up the expected benefits surpassing all and any competition.

I await your return on this case.

thank you

Hi Sr. g00211126,

I type command and I received same result of windows, like your red marked.

I think the problem should be a set of factors such as dll version or version of winpcap or

language or so.

Type the command " lodctr /r " before, during or after the eNSP I had the same problem.

In windows 7 environment presents this message of successfully, the environment windowsXP I

.topo files should be mapped in registry to be opened with the eNSP program.

Very goog job

This simulator will be very usefulll for me because I work as an Networking Instructor her in

Chile.

I run it on Windows Vista and I works perfect.

In Windoes 7 64 bit the software craches. The same problem of other people in this forum. Until

now I have not enter the command suggested.

I also installed it on Win XP SP3 virtual machine and the program run well but I can´t launch

Wireshark when I start a packet capture.

I have been searching for the Wireshark path in the e NSP but with no success. Any ideas???

Of course, Wireshark is installed in the Virtual machine itself. I reinstalled it, and also reinstalled

eNSP but in the virtual machine, when I start a capture, wirechark is not launched. It is a

Windows XP SP3 virtual machine. Very strange.

Thanks.

Hi,

I have the same problem with eNSP that other people. I start the program but windows says there is a problem an the program will close.

Page 26: huawei simulator.pdf

I've try the solution loctdr /r, and it works parcially, because i have to do it at the same time that the router is starting, and i have to do the same with every router in the topology.

Do you have a total solution for this issue? I know is a beta simulator, but i think this is a big bug!

Any way, congratulations for eNSP!, i was waiting for it!

i wonder how people can use eNSP, all my collegues have the same problem as me. when i start

the program windows says that the program has a problem and will close.

the solution lodctr /r only works sometimes and i have to type all the time the same command in cmd for every router in the topology.

anybody using windows 7 can run the simulator without any problem?

Last news from huawei support is "we are working very hard to fix the program crashing issue"

I have the same problem, when i start the program windows says "the program will close" etc,

but i wonder how people can run the program without any problem beacuse they are asking

about some features or some commands. it's seem that ther problem only occur in certains

windows stations, i don't know.

We are waiting for the solution in order to try the simulator, because now a days i can't start the

devices.

be.
