Select a Theme and Front PageSetup:• Activate a theme

you like• Click Customize!!!(Next page = important)

Tip: sort by free themes

Setup Portfolio on the Front Page

• In “Customize”, click “Front”.

• Select “static Page”

• Chose your Project Portfolio Page to be the front page.

• Else, it gets messy!!!

Use a New Post for Each Project

Use Lots of Pictures in PostsAdd Media to Upload Pictures

Text for HTML Editing

Categories if you have multiple project types(Biomedical, CS, Business, Art)

Create a Picture Grid on Portfolio Page

Add a cover picture for each project you want in your portfolio

Use Link tool to link it to the matching post (see next page)

Tip: Keep all pictures the same format and size (300 X 300 = best)

Select page or post to link to

Make a Menu for Your Site

Go to Appearances Menu

Create a new MenuSelect pages & Categories you want in the Menu.

If you’re using Projects instead of Posts, select “project types” to add to menu
