Choosing child care is a big decision. Huffer Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) offers services for families that are designed to equip families with the information they need to make informed choices about early care and education for their young children.Finding high quality child care is a common challenge for families today. Understanding the differences among all of types of child care in Indiana is complicated. And comparing quality among the options can be overwhelming. Huffer CCR&R provides free, personalized referrals to legally operating care; however, Huffer CCR&R does not recommend or endorse any particular child care provider. Learn how to become a child care provider in Indiana by attending a special presentation by Huffer CCR&R on Thursday, August 13, beginning at 11 a.m. at WorkOne Anderson. There is no charge to attend.

Child care referrals from Huffer CCR&R are based on Paths to QUALITY, Indianas child care rating system, giving an easy-to-use tool to help simplify the search for child care and find the best quality care for families with children. Families with infants and toddlers and families with children who have special needs face additional and unique challenges, especially when looking for child care. Huffer CCR&R provides specialized support for families facing these challenges.
