Staffing/Recruitment

• Recruitment is the process to select thepotential candidates for organizations to leveragecompetitive advantage.

• In Islam, choosing the right person effects trustand loyalty to organizations.

If employees have been chosen

based on favoritism and not

due to his capabilities, there will

be feeling of mistrust and disloyalty.

In accordance with QURAN

• Al-Quran has provided a very simple but yet very relevant criteria to be used for the selection for the best applicants.

In surah Al-Qasas, 28 Verse 26, P 20 Prophet Moses who met Person, whose

daughter said to him:

“O my (dear) father! Hire him on

wages truly the best of men for you

to employ is the (man) is strong and trusty”

ان میں سے ایک نے کہا ابا جان مالزم رکھ لیجیے انیہں

اس لیے کے بہترین مالزم وہ ہی ہو سکتا ھے جو طاقتور

اور امندار ہو۔

Training

Training is a process to provide opportunity for individual to acquire knowledge, develop skills and capability necessary to perform their job and to fulfill organization needs.

In accordance with QURAN

• The verse in Qur’an says Surah Al Fiter # 35 P.22

• “Those truly fear God among His servants whohave knowledge”

ڈرتے ہیں ہللا کے وہ بندے جو ہللا کی زات و صفات کا

علم رکھتے ہیں۔

• The Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) also declared it compulsory for Muslims to acquire knowledge when he said:

“Seeking knowledge is a duty/

obligation on every Muslim man and woman.”

فرض ہے۔علم حاصل کرنا ہر مسلمان مرد عورت پر

MOTIVATION/REWARDS

• Reward is a desirable outcome that resulted from a desirable behavior.

• While punishment is the undesirable outcome that follows unwanted

behavior.

In Quran

• Allah said in the verse of Surah Al-Khaf # 46 Para # 26

• “We never waste the reward of anyone

who did good”

بیثک ہللا کسی کے اچھے اعمال کا اجر ضائع نیہں کرتا۔

“Pay the worker for his work before his sweat dries” (Ibn e Majah)

نے فرمایا مزدور کا پسینہ خشک ہونے سے ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص آپ

پہلے اُس کی مزدوری ادا کرو۔

• Performance management is a process of ensuring the employees’ activities and outputs contribute to the organizations goals

In Quran

ALLAH said, "As for one who wrongs, we will punish him. Then he will be returned to his Lord, and He will punish him with a terrible punishment”. ( Surat Al-Kahf # 46 Ayat 87 Para # 26 )

جو غلط ہو گا ہم اُسیے سزا دیں گے،پھر جب وہ

اسے درد ناک (ہللا)اپنے رب کےپاس جا پہنچے گا تو وہ

عزاب دے گا۔
