What is Human Trafficking?

Human Trafficking is organized crime which exploits people to make profit out of them.

It is the 2nd largest organized crime today, 2nd only to drugs.

It is the FASTEST growing criminal activity in the world.

There are an estimated 27 million slaves in the world today.

The average age of trafficking victims is 12 years old. (A21 Campaign)

1.2 million children are trafficked every year. (STOP THE TRAFFIK)

During 2003 there were an estimated 4,000 victims of trafficking for prostitution in the UK at any given time. (Hope for Justice)
