HVAC with seawater cooled condenser
This HVAC unit is a compact, flexible system especially designed for air treatment onboard ships. It has 105 kW cooling capacity and 50kW heating capacity, with an airflow on 3600 m3/h. The outside dimensions of the unit are L: 4600 x H: 2900 x D: 1300mm.
In this unit is there a separate part for supplying fresh air and an extract section for exhaust air. Each of these sections has its own fan which makes it possible to regulate the amount of supply air and exhaust air. The unit is also provided with shutoff dampers on the intake and exhaust side.
The unit’s mission is to cool supply air and if necessary also dehumidify the air with too much moisture, and heating the air through the heat-ing element if this is necessary.
The HVAC Unit is built in AISI 316 stainless steel chassis, consisting of Cu evaporator in AISI 316 frame. The construc-tion has been made robust, taken into consideration the rough conditions in the offshore industry. The unit is delivered with seawater condenser and pressure-controlled valve fore water.
