The pep rally on Tuesday, while a bit loud, was fun and it was a blast to see the students dancing! We certainly appreciate your support of our P.T.A.O. and this fundraiser. All students will receive a t-shirt for run day and will have a great time participating. Here is a copy of the schedule for the FundRun day on Thursday, September 24th. We would love for all of you to come and cheer your students on, but remember you must be a cleared volunteer! If you call be- fore next Thursday and let us know you are coming, we can have your badge printed out for you. Hunt Elementary School's 2015 FundRun fundraiser event. We feel this will be an excellent partnership to support this healthy, fun, and active annual event at our School. We are so grateful for their involvement, and look forward to working together! Congratulations Ella Sharman, who has now read one million words and is now in the Principal’s Million Word Club.     Gifted Screening

    with their classroom in October. Letters

    to 2nd grade parents will be coming

    home with exact dates at a later time.

    Please follow these guidelines when sending

    money to school.

    1. Send money in an envelope/baggie.

    2. Each reason gets its own envelope/baggie.

    3. Only send the exact amount for each rea-

    son.

    We do not give change.

    4. On each envelope/baggie, please write:

    first and last name

    teacher name

    what the money is for

    If you send a check (which, for your record

    keeping is a great idea) please include stu-

    dent and teacher names and purpose on memo

    line. Thank you!

    Teen Tutoring for Kids Saturday, September 26 @ 10am-12pm Kids (grades K-6) can come into the Anasta-sia Library for one on one tutoring sessions in reading or math with National Honors Students from Pedro Menendez High School. The tutoring is FREE to all students but you need to call to sign up as space is limited. Call 209-3730 or come by the Ana-stasia Library Service Desk to sign up.

    Kids & Teen Peace Day Craft Event Wednesday, September 23 @ 2:30pm Join us as we celebrate International Peace Day by creating some fabulous peace crafts. We will be tie-dying t-shirts, making peace bracelets and planters. All are wel-come to tie-dye - just bring in your own T-Shirt to tie-dye in celebration of Internation-al Peace Day. Sponsored by the Friends of the Anastasia Island Branch Library.

    Family Movie: Cinderella Friday, September 25 @ 3:30pm (PG)Come into the library to see Disney's newest version of the classic tale, Cinderella. When her father unexpectedly passes away, young Ella finds herself at the mercy of her cruel stepmother and her daughters. Never one to give up hope, Ella's fortunes begin to change after meeting a dashing stranger. Light snacks will be provided by the Friends of the Anastasia Island Branch Library.

    Rental Night for string instruments (violin, viola, cello)

    will be Thursday September 24th, 5-6pm

    in the music room.

    Homeroom parents should have received the Homeroom planner packet via

    email. In it you will find the Booth Selection form as well as Booth Ideas for the

    upcoming Fall Festival. If you have not filled out the Booth Selection form, please

    do so by October 2nd and turn the form in to the front office. If you have any ques-
