A Note from our Library Director – Sharon Moreland-Sender

The Board is pleased to share its new mission: To provide a vibrant welcoming environment where everyone

will engage, explore and enjoy. With your input, we determined that we need to focus on partnership,

lifelong learning, technological literacy, creative expression, community involvement and we need to continue to be the hub of

our community. So, our 2016 programs, services and collections will reflect the strategic goal priorities of Collaboration,

Education, Innovation, Inspiration, Participation and Destination! Look for Sunday hours, expanded teen services and programs,

and computer classes in the new Friends Learning Lab.

If your company has a Matching Gifts Program that supports

libraries, you can increase your gift to the Friends, a 501

(c)(3)organization. Matching Gift Programs are charitable

giving programs set up by corporations in which the company

will match the donation made by an employee to an eligible
