Window Washing SolutionsFor maintenance and window washing applications, we can provide permanently installed access systems when temporary products will not meet your needs. We offer a variety of products, from powered platforms and roof machines to davits, sockets and monorail systems.

Rooftop WalkwaysFor areas that are accessed often or need roof protection, rooftop walkways provide clear, safe routes for workers and reduce damage to the roof. Steep or slippery areas are covered and made safe with non-skid steel grating stairs and pathways. The walkway system can be installed on a variety of roof types. Handrails or a cable lifeline can be incorporated to provide fall protection.

Grating is available in non-slip or smooth tread. Ourdesigners will engineer a custom walkway to fit into your unique roof configuration.

Swing Arm SeriesThe Swing Arm System is a pivoting beam and trolley system which can be extended over a work area, and then returned to its retracted position. The system dimensions and resulting coverage areas are determined on a case by case basis. When the arms are extended, a beam is centered over theworkarea;oneormoretrolleysrunthelengthofthebeam,providingcontinuous fall protection. The system is designed, engineered and built to comply with OSHA standards and local building codes. Typical installation is to attach to existing steel columns or the building structure.

Shock pack or no shock pack?A lanyard with a shock pack should always be used when a worker is in a fall arrest situation.

A lanyard without a shock pack can be used when the fall protection is acting as a restraining device—meaning the lanyard will prevent the worker from getting close enough to the edge to actually fall off.

Immediately after our install is complete, our lead technician will conduct hands-on training for your new system. Inspection and RecertificationOur services don’t stop after your installation! We keep you OSHA compliant year after year. Systems are certified to meet or exceed all safety performance specifications. Certification assures you that the installed system fully meets applicable engineering and performance standards. This system inspection is important to maintain the integrity of the equipment’s performance in any environment.

In addition to system recertification, Hy-Safe also offers recertification of self retracting lifelines. change without notice. Once enrolled in Hy-Safe’s Incentive Program, a

distributor is bound by the terms and conditions of Hy-Safe Technology

until terminated by either party with notice.

TERMS: Net 30 days from date of shipment. All orders are subject to

acceptance at our office. We reserve the right to invoice at prices in

effect at time of shipment. We will sell and ship to approved credit

only.WeacceptVisa®,Mastercard®andAmericanExpress®.Creditcan

be established by furnishing bank and trade references on company

letterhead.

FREIGHT: F.O.B. shipping point, freight prepaid and added to invoice.

Title of goods passes to buyer upon delivery to carrier from our

shipping point. Unless specified otherwise at the time the order is

entered, we will ship typically via a ground service of our choosing. If

any freight arrangements are required by the end user or distributor,

such requirements must be communicated in writing with the order

and accepted by the Company. We will drop ship to your customer

(enduser)butclearshippinginstructionsaretheresponsibilityofthe

distributor. Expedited freightmustbe specifiedat timeoforder.We

will consider prepaying freight based on size of the order on a case by

case basis.

RETURNS: Authorization for return of merchandise must be obtained

in writing prior to return. A 35% restocking charge will usually apply.

Returns will only be accepted for materials which are returned in

adequate condition for resale and less than 30 days old. Custom

products and orders and discontinued items or those sold as a

promotion may not be returned. The company reserves the right to

issue only a credit toward future purchases. Returned products must

carryaReturnedGoodsAuthorization(RGA)numberandacopyofthe

form enclosed. Returns are to be shipped prepaid only.

Cancelled orders will not incur any restocking fee for normally stocked

items. Special order items or unique fabrications may not be returned

foranyreasonotherthanmanufacturerdefect.AnRGAnumbermust

be obtained prior to returning any unique fabrication. Returns are to

be shipped prepaid only.

WARRANTIES: Hy-Safe Technology and FPA warrant their products to

be free from defects in materials and workmanship. The Company’s

only obligation under this warranty will be, at the Company’s sole

option, to repair or replace any part proving to be defective. Hy-Safe

Technology’s liability in any case will not exceed the original purchase

price of the item purchased. In regards to fall protection products, Hy-

Safe Technology’s obligation applies to all assembled products and

components determined by Hy-Safe to have been defective during

thewarrantyperiodofone(1)yearfromthedateofpurchasebythe

owner. This warranty does not apply to any assembly of component

determined by Hy-Safe to have become defective after having arrested

a fall or as a result of an accident, alteration, misuse, abuse or servicing

with parts not approved by Hy-Safe Technology.

BY AN AUTHORIZED OFFICIAL OF HY-SAFE TECHNOLOGY OR FALL

PROTECTIONASSOCIATES(FPA).

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE: The distributor will notify

Hy-Safe and confirm shipping arrangements. All warranty returns

must be approved in advance, shipped prepaid and follow the return

policy including the use of the RGA form. NOTE: ALL PRODUCTS

RETURNED MUST BE CLEANED AND DECONTAMINATED PRIOR TO

SHIPMENT. Products received by Hy-Safe covered with asbestos or

other contaminant will not be accepted but returned freight collect.

COMPLIANCE NOTICE: Hy-Safe Technology products are

manufactured to comply with applicable OSHA and ANSI standards

for fall protection. ANY product that is subjected to the force of a fall

or part of a system subjected to forces of a fall must be immediately

removed from service. Please notify Hy-Safe if there is any question as

to applicability of this notice. ANY component of a personal fall arrest

system that is subjected to the forces of a fall must be immediately

tagged and removed from service until a competent or qualified

person has inspected the equipment and certifies its use once again

for fall protection.

ALL personal protective equipment subjected to the force of a fall is

tobePERMANENTLYremovedfromservice(suchasharness,lanyard,

extension) while self retracting lifelines may be serviced and certified

for use again. Only a Hy-Safe Technology representative is authorized

to certify products and systems. Certification of products or systems

by any other party will void any warranty and liability of Hy-Safe
