The valves of the 5500CE series have been designed as quick cutting systems to facilitate emergency closure in storage tanks and LPG or NH3 transport and storage

lines.

The valves can be mounted directly in the inlet and outlet connections of the storage tanks and in line with the container reel of the 6000CE series, the installation can be

either horizontal or vertical.

These valves are not designed as a primary cutting system despite having a completely sealed seat.

The valve at rest is closed by the pressure exerted by the stainless steel spring and by applying hydraulic pressure it remains open. When the pressure is removed, the valve

automatically closes.

These valves have a thermal fuse connected to the hydraulic oil inlet that in case of an external fire melts at an approximate temperature of 75ºC which loses the pressure

and causes its immediate closure.

The valves are built in carbon steel A352 Gr LCB suitable to work at temperatures up

to -45 ° C, the cylinder has an internal sleeve to facilitate the displacement of the

piston; the spring is made of stainless steel and the joints in Viton.

Hydraulic valve Container reel

Due to the size of the valves, when they are installed in a line, they must first be placed in a container reel of the 6000CE series in order to maintain the flow with a

minimum loss of load.

The container reel is made of carbon steel and can work at temperatures down to -25ºC and a pressure of 25Barg.

As an option, there is an intermediate flange for the installation in line, as well as in the tank, which is placed between the hydraulic valve and the reel or the tank,

which allows the disconnection of the pipe that precedes the valve without needing to depressurize the other side of the line or the tank.
