H ydro Industries Tynat Ltd., is the developer of water-powered-
engines, injected out of plastic materials.The engines are based on the principle of Positive Displacement, of 2 major kinds:
Piston Engines (Linear or radial)• Vane Engines•
Hydro’s engines are of high volumetric e�ciency (95% and more).Hydro’s technology bridges the cheaper and relatively non-accurate injection technologies. Hydro’s engines develop high torques, also in low �ow rates (as opposed to turbine engines), and under the inlet pressure of the household/ municipal/ standard water net of 2-10 Bars.Hydro’s engines overall mechanical e�ciency is relatively high (over 75%). Hydro’s engines technology is patented worldwide (Especially in the US, Europe, Australia and Israel).Since 2002 Hydro Industries sold over 3.5 million engines worldwide, mostly in North America.
The major application, of which Hydro’s engine is used so far, is the Automatic Garden Hose Reel.Hydro collaborates with Suncast, an American leader in the Hose Reel market, for which the company produces approx. 300,000 engines per year.
In addition, Hydro develops engines for Agricultural use (Including water agriculture), for the swimming pools market (A new product, cooperation with an Israeli company international market leader, will be launched towards February 2012), and for additional markets accessible to water.
Throughout the years, Hydro Industries won several international prizes for innovation.
Hydro Industries is seeking additional implements for the water-engines, and is willing to collaborate with any development which concerns low cost engines in large numbers.
