CURRENT AUCTIONSThe cost of replacing existing assets with identical or substantially similar (equal to but not better than) assets at current new prices, together with the cost of transport, installation, commissioning and any other directly attributable costs.

The cost of replacing an existing asset with an identical or substantially similar asset of comparable age and in comparable condition together with the depreciated cost of transport, installation, commissioning and any other directly attributable costs.

Defined as the estimated amount for which an asset should exchange on the date of valuation between a willing buyer and a willing seller in an arm’s length transaction after proper marketing wherein the parties had each acted knowledgeably, prudently and without compulsion.

The amount of money at which a given property would change hands between a willing buyer and a willing seller in an appropriate marketplace, when neither is acting under compulsion and when both have reasonable knowledge of relevant facts including installation and other turnkey costs and assumes that the earnings support the value reported.

The estimated gross amount of money that could typically be realised from a properly advertised and conducted public auction, with a seller who is compelled to sell with a sense of immediacy on an as-is and where-is basis, as of a specific date

The amount of gross proceeds which could be expected from the sale of the appraised assets, held under orderly sale conditions, given a reasonable period of time in which to find a purchaser(s), considering a completed sale of all assets, “as is and where is,” with the buyer assuming all costs of removal, with all sales made free and clear of all liens and encumbrances, with the seller acting under compulsion.

CURRENT AUCTIONSIan Hyman and the Hymans team believe that giving back to the community and supporting those less fortunate is imperative to building functional and effective communities. Hymans supports Inala, which is a Rudolf Steiner organisation supporting individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. Ian conducts charity auctions for Inala and also holds an annual Inala charity lunch which involves sportsmen and women offering their time in the spirit of fundraising for this fantastic charity.

In 2011, Ian and his committee raised almost $100,000 for the Inala organisation to provide capital equipment for the new Dulkarra Day Facility at Cherrybrook.

Hymans also supports St Edmonds Special Needs School and Chromehurst Special Needs School and conducts numerous auctions for various charities around Australia. Long serving members of Ian Hyman’s team reckon that he has conducted over 1,000 charity auctions over the past 29 years helping these great organisations to raise many millions of dollars.
