The Telephone Keypad (invented in 1941) only emits dual tones- one of the most widespread sounds of contemporary planet earth

There are actually 16 tones in the specification 0-9, *, #, A,B,C,D But, all Telephones only use 12 of them – 9 for the alphabet However, all Telephone Systems accept all 16 tones Using all 16 creates a ~80% increase in alphabet signaling
