IA - Put all your IA work in this folder 2. Paper 1: Rights and Protests 3. Paper 2: Authoritarian States 4. Paper 3: History of the Americas - Put all your Paper 3 materials in this folder 5. General Information IA first draft: I. You should already have a completed first draft uploaded to Managebac. You will be turning it in on Canvas on the first day of school. A. Plan of attack B. Rubrics Read and take notes: The more you do over summer, the easier it will be during the school year. All of this is required reading. Do it over the summer or do it during the school year. The choice is yours. Choose wisely. Media Center books will not likely be available over the summer. Linked here is the schedule from last year (2020-2021) Paper 2 Classwork and Homework Schedule, Paper 1 Classwork and Homework Schedule. I have linked the schedule so you can make informed decisions. If you know a particular quarter or semester is busy with theater, sports, band, etc, then look at the schedule to see which notes you should do ahead of time. That way you only have to review them when the time comes. II. Paper 1 Rights and Protests (1 book); US Civil Rights 1954-1965, Apartheid South Africa 1948-1964. If you can afford to buy your own, you should. We will be using the whole book and supplemental materials as well. You can find used copies for a reasonable price at the end of the school year as students who had to buy their books are looking to off-load them. A History of Latin America by Benjamin Keen and Keith Haynes, selected portions. If you want to buy your own used copy, they can be found for a few dollars.
