I was awakened from a troubled sleep by

one of the guards as he pulled me out of

the cell. Still half asleep I realised that today I was to go to court. Everyone sat down, court was in session. “What is

your alibi Mr. Wolf?" The judge asked. I rose, now was my

chance I could finally tell them how it all

went down.

‘I woke that day felling great not knowing it would turn out like this. I got ready for a great day of wondering through the forest. Den open, the sweet smell of flowers flowed around me. Walking down my usual rout I saw someone who looked very lost. As I got closer I realised they were running towards me. It was kind of odd, maybe they had been out here for days.’

‘Suddenly my eyes were stinging. I couldn’t believe it! They sprayed me with pepper spray. I wanted to say something to that person but I couldn’t see a

thing. As I stumbled through the forest I came to this clearing. Still blinded with pain I thought I saw a

house. I got closer something scrambled inside.’

‘It was a pig, maybe if I was lucky it would give me water. I walked straight

into the door.’ “Little pig, Little pig let me come in.” ‘I sounded a bit creepy but the pig wouldn’t mind.’ “Not by the hair on my chinny, chin, chin.” ‘I paused what could I do now? The pig rejected me.’

‘A wave of anger washed over me,’ “Then I’ll huff and I’ll puff and blow your house down!” ‘I knew that

would bring consequences later but I was desperate! So the house fell down with one puff of my breath. The pig scrambled away to the next house.’ “Here

we go again” I muttered to my self.

“Little pigs, Little pigs let me in.” “Not by the hair on our chinny, chin, chins.” ‘This was

starting to really annoy me. Since I’m a wolf I should be excused for having a short temper. But no that’s why I’m telling this story now.’ “Then I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your

house down!”

‘Again the house fell down and again they went running to the next house. How

many houses were there” I asked my self. I couldn’t see because I was half blind. Hopefully this was the last and it was.’

“Little pigs, Little pigs let me in.” ‘I was getting sick of saying that.’ “Not by the hair on our chinny, chin, chins.” “Then I’ll

huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house down.” ‘I lost enthusiasm in that last bit. I tried to blow it

down. But I couldn’t. They started laughing at me.’

‘Fuelled with anger and desperation I climbed up onto the roof and down the chimney. Not even noticing the smoke coming out of the chimney. Before I knew it I was screaming in

pain as my tail burned. As I ran away I herd sirens. I knew they were

coming for me.’

‘I stopped; I couldn’t run any more it hurt to much. Then surprisingly enough I was on the ground with

cuffs around my hands.’ “You have the right to remain silent…”

The officer preached, just like one of those cop movies.

“That’s how I ended up here.” The judge looked

unimpressed. “Your story is plausible so you are

sentenced for five years for destruction of someone else’s

property. ‘Fair enough I deserved it. I was thrown into my cell after a few signatures

and unkind words.’“So that’s the end of my

pathetic ordeal, all I got from it was a burnt tail and a jail

sentence.” The End
