Types of leather & colorsAll Passier products are available in the colors Black and Havana, a warm, dark shade of brown. Some products are additionally available in Teak, a lighter walnut brown. Types of leather used are Jupa leather, a soft, non-slip cow hide, and Calf leather which is currently the soft-est and most comfortable leather. Some saddles and snaffles also have shiny, Patent leather trimmings.

guarantee that certain things will not change. Precisely those things

which distinguish a genuine Passier product. And have done, for

almost 150 years. Anyone who appreciates top quality will always

make the right choice with products by Passier. Because all saddles,

bridles, girths, stirrup leathers etc. are still made by hand – from the

highest quality materials from selected suppliers.

Furthermore, from the beginning successful personalities from

national and international equestrian sports have been pleased to

assist Passier in the area of new developments and advancements of

existing products. Whether jumping, dressage or eventing: Passier al-

ways meets the highest standards! Because for Passier an optimum fit

and therefore respect for and care of the horse is the ultimate priority.

So every saddle can be adjusted to fit a horse’s back perfectly – and

can even be adjusted a number of times, if necessary. At the same

time a genuine Passier saddle guarantees outstanding seating quality

for the rider. This means a unique riding experience which is virtually

impossible to match: That’s the Passier feeling.

Over 80 employees work at the company headquarters in Germany

PS Saddle Tree with frt-System®

Since 2012 Passier has been produc-ing the PS Saddle Tree with frt- System® which permits the horse’s shoulder to rotate completely freely.

PS Saddle TreeThe original PS Saddle Tree was patented in 1959 and has been continually developed ever since. More than 1,200 steps are neces-sary to produce it.

Saddle Trees The adjustable width of the gullet plate means a Passier saddle can be adjusted perfectly to suit the shape of any horse’s back. This can even be done a number of times. The saddle trees make it possible.

Synthetic Saddle Tree The Passier Synthetic Saddle Tree made from elastomer material has been in use since 1973. The at-tractively priced alternative to the PS Saddle Tree meets the highest standards and also offers perfect conditions for an optimum seat.

the correct panels for every horse

Normal Panels (rear view)Since 2013 all Passier saddle panels have been produced with foam inserts, which ensure an extremely soft, smooth contact area with the horse’s back and an optimum distribution of the rider’s weight.

Divided Freedom Panels (rear view)For horses with particularly sensitive backs Passier has developed panels with optimized wither clearance which are divided at the rear in order to permit even greater freedom for the spine.

Normal Panels (front view)The short gullet plate bar of the saddle tree on the interior side per-mits good freedom of the shoulders. Thus even a saddle with Normal Panels can be fitted to the horse in an optimum way.

Freedom PanelsThe Freedom Panels are excellent for horses with broad or exception-ally sensitive withers. Contact with the withers is effectively avoided, the panels are positioned perfectly on the horse’s back.

“The lifter” Panels (side view)“The Lifter” Panels provide more space for the withers – perfect for horses with high withers – and also ensure a good contact area. Fur-thermore, the short, round form of the panels at the rear means they come off the horse’s back quickly and therefore exert no pressure.

Normal Panels (side view)The Normal Panels (seen here from the side) are perfect for the needs of horses and ponies of normal stature. They are padded as flat as possible and in most cases can be fitted to the horse in an optimum way.

Every saddle receives its own number from our saddle masters’ hands during production in Langenhagen – a feature which makes it absolutely unmistakable. And which can be used decades later to see which dealer it was shipped to and when. So there need never be any ambiguity about the age of a Passier saddle ...

Each individual Passier saddle can be adjusted by its saddle tree – and an authorized Passier stockist can fit it precisely to suit any horse’s back. This can even be done a number of times. As a result of its precise fit, a Passier saddle can accompany a horse and its rider throughout their entire life.

This horse-friendly breastplate prevents the saddle from slipping backwards in the take-off phase without exerting pressure on any specific points.

Corvus Breastplate

The breastplate with removable martingale attachment convinces by its elasticated side pieces. The elasticity significantly reduces the pressure on the horse’s withers.

Marcus Ehning Breastplate

The particularly elaborately stitched breastplate with a removable martingale attachment was developed together with professional show jumper Marcus Ehning. The breastplate is very softly lined so the horse barely feels it, and therefore very horse-friendly.

Ingrid Klimke Breastplate

This perfect combination of neck ring and breast-plate was developed in cooperation with top rider Ingrid Klimke. It has a removable martingale attachment and is very softly lined and therefore exceptionally horse-friendly.

Trapezius relief Pad (TrP)

The Trapezius relief Pad has been de-veloped together with dressage trainer Eberhard Weiß. It distinguishes itself from conventional pads by means of the two special recesses in the sensitive rearward part of the trapezius muscle. These oval recesses provide demonstrable pressure relief: The horse can breath more freely and snort more contentedly. Furthermore, the pad encourages better back activity and relaxation as well as promoting good muscle development and can also be used prophylactically against over-sensi-tive reactions to the saddle.

The Saddle Cloth with Coat of Arms convinces by means of its very good fit. The outer material is in suede-look and quilted with under-material made of 100 percent, skin-friendly cotton.

FlexiPad® Dressage/Jumping

The FlexiPad® was tested by the renowned IST Institute, Munich, and by the Technical university of Munich, research Group Schmitt-Thomas, and cer-tified as particularly horse-friendly. It adjusts per-fectly to the horse’s back and to the saddle and can therefore compensate for changes which take place to the horse’s body in the course of training. It absorbs the pressure – the muscles of the horse can relax. In addition, it ensures an optimum saddle-fit since it is made of FlexiFleece which has no memory effect and therefore it always retains its shape. As a result of the cut back head and curved back, the FlexiPad® sits perfectly, as a fully reversible pad it is extremely practical and is available in a wide range of colors.

Lambskin Pads Dressage/Jumping

The anatomically-shaped hard-wearing pad made of vegetable-tanned lambskin has highly therapeutic benefits: It is shock absorbing and effectively prevents formation of pressure points therefore making it perfect for horses with sen-sitive backs. The pad also promotes circulation and alleviation of tension and is also beneficial for horses prone to allergies. The lambskin extends to the front of the saddle, where a small edge forms an attractive trim, behind which the saddle can be well positioned. The underside of the pad consists of original lambskin with 25 mm (1/10") deep pile. The outer side is made of cot-ton. The perfect pad for lovers of lambskin!

Fleece Cooler rug

The especially elegant Cooler rug with emblem and cord has a very good cooling function and also keeps the horse warm, as it is made of cuddly, soft and thick Polar Fleece. The Cooler rug has a Velcro fastening at the front, a practical closure with a swivel hook above and a deep-set tail strap at the rear.

The under rug made of soft polyester in Passier Blue with Passier let-tering on the border is available either with 150 g or warm 300 g filling. In order to effectively avoid any rubbed patches in the chest area, smooth polyester taffeta has been integrated into the front of the rug. An inner woven fur insert protects the sensitive withers.

Stable and Turnout rug

The Stable and Turnout rug has an optimum fit. Due to its smooth polyester inner lining the rug adapts perfectly to the horse’s sequence of movement and protects the horse’s shoulders. Additional features are the movement gussets, the practical closure at the front and sides as well as the tail flap. Available without filling as well as with 150 g or 300 g filling.
