Preamble:

In order to strengthen ITwing, Board of Directors ofBESCOMin the meetingheld on 25.07.2015 have taken a decision to create separate InformationTechnology and Smart Grid cadre and to have an ideal InformationTechnology and Smart Grid organization structure to meet businessobjectives of the company. Hence, this order.

However, detailed organization structure of ICT, SMARTGRID and Chief

Information Security and Planning wing including reporting pattern and

positions are explained in Annexure-A', 'B', and 'C' respectively.

2. The details of posts (both company cadre and hired personnel) sanctioned

for the above stated new sections are explained in Annexure-'D'.

3. Roles and Responsibilities, minimum qualification, experience, evaluation

criteria and mode of selection of each position are stated in Annexure-'E'.

4. Relevant Recruitment and Promotion Regulations, Cadre and Recruitment

rules including policyfor the seniority and promotion entitlement of internal

manpower resource shall be framed by a committee headed by Managing

Director, BESCOM.

5. Outsourced manpower shall be hired on contract for three years period with

a provision to extend for another two years.

6. Hiring of external manpower resources shall be on need basis only as and

when required.

This order shall come into forcewith effect from 01.08.2015.
