i3TRAINING is the place to be for increasing your knowledge and skills. All our activities embody our practical approach, which has proven to be very effective.
What does an i3TRAINING look like?
The teacher becomes skilled in using the i3BOARD software correctly and in using the i3BOARD as effectively as possible during classes. The button training
stimulates technical skills. The teacher gets to know the possibilities of the software and hardware of i3-Technologies optimally.
The didactic and flex trainings optimize the usage of the i3LEARNHUB software and stimulate the development of interactive lessons in a ll disciplines. These trainings
use i3-lessons which, together with other applications, are an inspiration for interactive ways of teaching.
Why attend an i3TRAINING?
Education is constantly subject to developments. Current education has to be interactive, inspiring and process-oriented. i3TRAINING helps teachers develop
interactive, inspiring and process-oriented lessons. The trainings don’t only teach technical skills, but also take into account the school’s vision, the teacher’s qualities

OVERVIEW
Train de trainer
During this full day session teachers will be prepared on training their peer teachers. They will get specific advice and
presentation materials related to the i3TRAINING program. Teachers will be guided using a process-oriented training method.
After this session teachers will be able to train peer teachers on the basic skills and the didactic approach. This way the school
will become independent in the future when additional training is needed.
Basic training
An introduction to the possibilities and functions of the hardware of i3-Technologies and a basic
overview of the i3LEARNHUB software. After this training the teacher can handle the technical
operations, which are necessary for using the hardware of i3-Technologies.
Didactic approach
This training focuses on more interactive functions in the i3LEARNHUB software and allows teachers to use it even
more effectively and to create more process-oriented lessons. More advanced techniques will be practiced during
this hands on training session. This will enable teachers to train their students on 21st century learning skills
(collaboration, technical literacy, creativity, critical thinking, effective communication).
Flex training
A training that is arranged according to the school’s wishes and that responds to the teachers’ needs. This can
be for example a domain specific training, but also an extensive i3LEARNHUB Training.
Content creation day
During this full day session teachers will work in specific groups (based on subject or grade level) to create specific
content in the i3LEARNHUB software. An i3 Education Consultant will guide the teachers during this interactive session.
Teachers will also be practicing on more student focused teaching skills (ex. working with student devices).

BASIC TRAINING
Description
An introduction to the possibilities and functions of the hardware of i3-Technologies and a basic overview of the i3LEARNHUB software.After this training the teacher can handle the technical operations, which are necessary for using the hardware of i3-Technologies.

• Train peer teachers in basic and didactic skills to make them able to use the i3 interactive solutions eectively.
• Implement specic examples in the training presentations for basic and didactic training.
Duration: Full day
Objectives:
Teachers are able to train peer teachers on the basic skills and the
didactic approach. The school will become independent in the future
when additional training is required.

i3-TECHNOLOGIES GIVES PRIORITY TO THE LEARNING PROCESS
The path to innovation
The decision to make the switch to the interactive whiteboard has many consequences. Not only for the teacher who works with it, but also for the students. At
rst, depending on the teacher’s ICT abilities, the motivation of the students is boosted. The teacher quickly notices that the i3BOARD is intended for broaderpurposes and begins to experiment with dierent ways of teaching in order to achieve better learning results. Obviously, that won’t happen by itself! A good
guidance and training are very important for teachers so that they can use the i3BOARD eciently and interactively.
Old things in old ways
In the rst phase, the teacher uses the same teaching method as he did previously. We call this “old tings in old ways”. The i3BOARD is mainly used as a writing
surface and as an ennobled projection screen. The use of the interactive solution is mostly limited to playing videos, viewing websites, opening and viewing
documents in Word, PowerPoint and in other software applications. Teachers also use digital learning books supplied by publishers or other content providers.
