Overview of changes

Introduction

At iA Financial Group, we strive to ensure optimal positioning for the opportunities and complexities of evolving markets. To this end, we have made a number of fund name changes and portfolio manager changes effective July 13, 2020.

Please see below for a summary of the changes. While the investment objective of each affected mandate remains unchanged, the new portfolio management teams will bring to the funds their unique and proven strategies to deliver superior results for investors.

These changes do not result in fundamental change and do not require any action on your part or your clients’ part. Clients will benefit from a management fee that is less than or equal to the current management fee.

If you have any questions about these changes, please speak with your sales team.

Details of changes Portfolio Manager As of July 13, the Canadian Conservative Equity Fund and its Hybrid counterpart are now managed by Donny Moss of iAIM in a

similar fashion to the Dividend Growth mandate he currently manages, which has shown excellent results. To reflect these changes, the funds are renamed Dividend Growth (iAIM) and Dividend Growth (iAIM) Hybrid 75/25.

While the investment objectives remain unchanged, Donny will bring to the funds his unique and proven investment approach in pursuit of superior results for investors.

Donny will focus on identifying primarily Canadian companies that typically pay regular and increasing dividends.

His objective is to provide income and long-term growth by investing in stocks of companies that offer attractive valuations, strong balance sheets and excellent management teams.

Impacts These changes do not result in any changes to the investment objectives or risk profiles of these funds.

Management expense ratios (MERs) will be reduced for certain series.

No action is required on your part or on your clients’ part.

BIO – JEFF SUJITNO

Jeff has nearly two decades of investment management experience and is the founder of Wellington Square. He specializes in fixed income and credit, with a focus on senior loans, high-yield bonds and investment grade corporate bonds.

Prior to Wellington Square, Jeff was Senior Vice-President, Investments and Portfolio Manager at iA Clarington.

Jeff is a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). He holds an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

BIO – DONNY MOSS

Donny has more than 15 years of experience in the investment industry. He currently serves as Senior Portfolio Manager, North American Equities within the Investment Funds team. In his role, he is responsible for the management of all Canadian dividend and US dividend equity mandates for iAIM. These mandates have an AUM of $3.8 billion and include our mutual fund and segregated fund partners.

He is also responsible for managing a Canadian and US Guided portfolio for the iAS/Hollis Wealth retail advisor platform.

Donny graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Commerce in 2001 and received the CFA charter in 2006.

BIO – MARC GAGNON

Marc has more than 27 years of experience in investments. As Vice-President and Principal Portfolio Manager, North American Equities, he is responsible for the equity selection, portfolio construction and management of Canadian equity portfolios for iA Investment Management.

In the mandates that allow it, Marc also invests in U.S. equity securities exposed to structural changes. He is also responsible for training and managing the team of North American analysts involved in stock selection for North American securities.

Marc Gagnon has an MBA from Laval University and received his CFA designation in 1995.

BIO – DAVID CARON

David has more than 15 years of experience in investment. He currently works as a Senior Portfolio manager, Canadian Equities for IA Investment Management. In his present functions, he is responsible for managing portfolios of Canadian equities and he is also responsible for the management of preferred share portfolios.

David Caron obtained a Master's degree in Finance from the Sherbrooke University in 2003. He received his CFA designation in 2006 and his Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation in 2011.

BIO – JEAN-PIERRE CHEVALIER

Jean-Pierre has more than 10 years of experience in the investment industry. He’s currently Portfolio Manager, US Equities within the investment management team. In his duty, he’s responsible for more than $800M in assets under management, including the Thematic Innovation Fund and the U.S. Equity Fund.

He works closely with the North American Equity team and helps train iAIM's financial analysts. He also participates in the marketing efforts of the various partners by sharing his market views during formal presentations.

Jean-Pierre Chevalier graduated from Laval University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance) and received the CFA charter in 2015.

BIO – EILEEN RILEY

Eileen Riley is a Vice-President of Loomis Sayles. She began her investment industry career at Loomis Sayles in 1998 as a member of the International Equity Team. After earning an MBA, Eileen returned to Loomis Sayles as a Senior Global Equity Analyst, covering the consumer and technology services sectors for the firm’s Central Research Group.

She later joined the Global Equity Team as a dedicated product analyst. Eileen was promoted to Portfolio Manager in 2013. Previously, she was a Fulbright student grant recipient in Germany.

Eileen earned a BA with honors from Amherst College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is a member of CFA Society Boston.

BIO – LEE ROSENBAUM

Lee Rosenbaum is a Vice-President of Loomis Sayles. He joined Loomis Sayles in 2008 as a Senior Global Equity Analyst for the firm’s Central Research Group, covering the industrials, materials and financial services sectors. Lee later joined the Global Equity Team as a dedicated product analyst. He was promoted to Portfolio Manager in 2013.

Previously, he covered the financial services sector for Putnam Investments.

Lee earned a BS with honors in civil engineering from the United States Coast Guard Academy, and an MBA from the Sloan School ofManagement at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to his graduate studies, he served in the United States Coast Guard, achieving the rank of lieutenant.

BIO – SÉBASTIEN VAILLANCOURT

Sébastien has nearly 18 years in the investment industry. He is currently Director of Innovation and Senior Portfolio Manager, Quantitative Strategies at IAIM. He is in charge of this newly created management team, whose mission is to develop and promote quantitative strategies as well as technological solutions that reduce both the operational costs of IAIM's investment activities, maximize the expertise of portfolio managers and hopefully improve their performance, in addition to creating new products / new asset management methods to meet the different customers needs.

Sébastien Vaillancourt obtained a Master's degree in Finance from the Trois-Rivières University in 2001 and received the CFA charter in 2004.
