LINGERIESapph the contemporary Dutch lingerie and swimwear label takes us on a road trip
to both coasts of the United States. Drawing inspiration from modern day Americana,
road movies, iconic buildings, music and cinematography. The bright lights of Las Vegas
inspire the first delivery block called From Vegas with Love. Raspberry contrasts
cool anthracite in lingerie and loungewear coordinates playing with the contrast of sheer
and solid adding opulent lace trims to create modern graphic detailing,
generally softening the highly graphic nature of previous collections.
Miami inspires the second drop and the raspberry becomes lipstick and cerise with
the whole group having a more contrast visual appeal using cerise pink as an accent colour
to black lace and using it to lift a demur black and white print. A beautiful rose
contrasted with black lace is a nod to the latin spirit of Miami and body jewellery and high neck
details make for some evening statement pieces traditionally associated with the label.
The third drop is the Texas inspired Wild Thing. And it uses the dusky pastels of
the desert sky and the very delicate palette of desert flowers. Vintage indigo is
contrasted with zephyr pink to create feminine graphics that are certainly very romantic
in feel. Cowgirl embroidery is present as a leitmotif across the collection evoking
a very strong sent of romantic nostalgia about this group.
Finally LA playground is a unicon inspired cornucopia of pastel rainbows
that contrast with country blue and lifted with optical white crisp pieces with beautiful
decorative embellishments such as guipure embroideries and shoulder and back lace
details. Certainly crossing over into a modern definition of bridal. Sapph continues
to use its strong design voice and modern aesthetic to create feminine lingerie with
contemporary appeal and feel aimed at the woman of our time whose wardrobe needs
to seamlessly blend with her highly demanding eclectic lifestyle.

few of the words to describe the Americana SS18 collection of Sapph.
The contemporary lingerie and swimwear Dutch label. Latin Spirit prevails
in the collection in most storiesbeing given names of Latin origin.
The mistress bikini is given a dramatic makeover using iridescent
hi-tech fabric contrasted with signature strapping. Felice and Rosa Grazia
zing in lime and flamingo respectively. The former using dramatic
embroidery and the later relying on the universal appeal of the colour.
The orologio bay reversible strappy suit is sure to be a sell out.
Gusto references the 70s with the use of a retro inspired textured
swimwear fabric in black and white while scintillate gives the
traditional leopard print a modern day treatment. By adding
semi precious stone embellishments for a maximal opulent look.
Leccornia brings prints to the collection with a Hawaii
inspired vintage tropical floral and an innovative take on
the graphic zebra print which mixes black and white lines
evoking zebra pattern with pop colour tropical florals.

The collection is available up to cup G and applies the tried and tested Sapph
fit onto larger cup and band sizes, creating a fun, playful and glamorous collection.
Shimmer metallics sit alongside classic blacks, with dramatic apex
embellishments. A zingy raspberry sits alongside fun, high summer
Tropical prints. Soft draping is used to contour the midrif and twisted bandeaus
are given an glamorous uplift with the use of sequins. Rhinestones decorate
the top cup of glamorous poolside 1pcs and grey metallic show pieces are
given a twist with strap decorations. The only thing that remains is to book
that gorgeous holiday somewhere fabulous, pack the sun cream and
