Part II: IBA Customer Service and SCX users

Page 26: IBA Field Support Team

What lies behind reliability?

How do we see the job?

How can you help us?

Current situation with SCX

What’s next?

IBA’s Customer Service

Page 27: IBA Field Support Team

Protect, Enhance, and Save Lives - 27 -

People

Skilled local staff can deal with/prevent many issues faster than IBA.

Tools

Having the right tool is the best way to do the job properly.

Parts

When problem is diagnosed, with well skilled staff, if part is missing,

there is no way to fix

What lies behind reliability? For any system

Page 28: IBA Field Support Team

Protect, Enhance, and Save Lives - 28 -

Engineers are able to fill the gap in knowledge/skills of the local staff

for normal PM

Engineers are able to fix higher level issues in EV with right tools/parts

Engineers are gathering and report issues in order to improve the

material we produce.

Engineers share their experience to increase the team’s knowledge.

How do we see IBA’s FSE

Page 29: IBA Field Support Team

Protect, Enhance, and Save Lives - 29 -

People

IBA has really few opportunities to train people on SCX machines

Last expert retiring, local staffs are knowing better

Tools

Many tools are common, not a real problem

Parts

Low volume

Quality not as good as we would like, since we rely on external

suppliers for designs we did not draw.

SCX situation?

Page 30: IBA Field Support Team

Protect, Enhance, and Save Lives - 30 -

IBA will reduce support of service agreements

Requests for help in a “best effort” mode

Provide help for a specific issue requiring special skills

Provide training within limits of available knowledge

IBA will provide spare parts in "best effort" mode

Parts that are usually ordered where stock or suppliers still exist.

Obsolete parts; try to provide a solution but no guarantee.

If a need for specific parts is existing, please express it clearly.

What’s next? Since 2014
