This is a joint project between the IBC Cologne and the GZM-EFGBaptistchurchinBonn.Godcontinuestoblessthiseffort,butweneedtoreachouttonewindividu-als to involve them in the study of the Bible. Pray for the regular stream of new members coming to the •Bible study. For the new Hauskreismeeting on Thursday evenings as•an outgrowth of the Friday evening program. It is a supple-mentary study of our Friday evening Bible studies.For the success of the partnership between the congrega-•tion here and their sister Baptist congregation in OxfordEngland.Thisweekistheannualexchangeprogram.A special thank you to the Bonn Ministry Leadership Team •ofCezarLayug,EdwardandMoniqueJikongfortheirworkin leading our Friday evening ministry.

We must pray earnestly for the se-verelysufferingpeopleofthecountryofHaiti.ExtensivereliefeffortsarebeingcoordinatedthroughtheBaptistWorldAllianceinpartnershipwithboththeBaptistCon-ventionofHaitiandtheBaptistHaitiMission,thetwolargestgroupsofBaptiststhere.PRAY FOR CHILI.• AlloftheBaptistchurchesintheearth-quake zonewereeitherdestroyedorbadlydamaged.TheBaptistWorldAlliance, through itsagencyBaptistWorld Aid, is working with the Union of Evangelical Bap-tistChurchesofChiletocoordinateextensivereliefef-forts among those stricken the hardest, and especially Baptistpastorsandchurchmembers.ForthevictimsofthecycloneinFigiwhoarerecover-•ing from the severe damage done on the island in the Pacific.ForthevictimsinthemudslideinRiodeJaneiroBrazil.•ForthevictimsoftheearthquakeinChina.•

Youth Ministry: • BeprayingforGod’scontinuedblessings on this ministry and the search for a Youth Pastor.We are seeking to expand thisministry to reach a growing number of young people in our city. Pray for the Youth Minis-try Leadership team as they lead the program during this interim period.Youth Pastor Search: Be praying for the Youth •Ministry Leadership Team as they begin the search for a new youth pastor. Early contacts have already produced several applicationsfortheposition.TheteamismovingtowardarecommendationtocomefirsttotheChurchLeadershipTeamandthentotheentiremem-bership. Prayer Ministry:• For the developing Prayer Ministry of our church, under Dean Edwards’ leadership. The Prayer Ministry leads the pre-worship prayer service each week 30 minutes before the worship service. Detailed plans for a Prayer Ministry in our church are gradually taking shape. Pray that God will raise up peo-

ple of deep prayer in our church.Women’s Ministry:• For the emerging Women’s Ministry of our church under the leadership of Alison Edwards. Pray for the Women’s Ministry Leadership Team as they begin implementing plans for the remainder of thechurch year. For the • Single Women’s Ministry Group that will be-gin meeting the second and fourth Sundays of eachmonth after the afternoon worship service. RachelHolota-Mwakaziisthegroupleader.Theirfirstmeetingwas May 9. Pray that our church can minister to single women and mothers in our city through this program. A developing ministry is now underway with plans for expansiontakingshape.Men’s Ministry, under the leadership of George Arre-•dondo. Pray for God’s guidance in structuring and train-ing the men in our church to serve Christ.Evangelism Ministry: • which is extending theoutreachof our church into the Cologne / Bonn region. Pray for the leadership team, as they lead the church in outreach under the leadership of Stefan Kaercher.Children’s Ministry:• We have continuing need of newworker’s to help with the Sunday School program for our children, and for the Bonn ministry on Friday eve-nings. Pray for Claire Cranford who serves as Children’s Minister.
