The list of international cinema, music and fashion stars who
come every year to Ibiza is endless, and they coincide with the big

The Fomento del Turismo of the island of Ibiza is an association
arising from the initiative of a group of visionary people, who, in
1933, set out to encourage, promote and develop the emerging
tourist industry on the island.
During this time, the association has been actively involved in
the successive changes that our island has been experiencing
through the tourism industry. At present, our institution is
composed of hoteliers, representatives of different social sectors
and individuals, whose contributions help to fund the operating
costs of the association.
The association works hard to provide a forum for open debate
and business collaboration, stimulating the association of
professionals, workers, businesses and organizations of all
economic and social sectors of our island, to work together to
make Ibiza a quality destination.
Fomento del Turismo de la Isla de Ibiza es una asociación que
surge de la iniciativa de un grupo de personas con visión de futuro,
que en el año 1933, se propusieron estimular, promocionar y
desarrollar la incipiente industria turística de aquel momento en la
isla.
Durante todo este tiempo, Fomento ha participado activamente en
los sucesivos cambios que nuestra isla ha ido experimentando a
través del Turismo. En la actualidad nuestra institución la forman
