75 years ago, the manufacturing of Ginger Candies started in Indonesia by

the Yeung Family. Without a penny to his name after his migration from

China in the 1930’s, Yeung Chai Huei started as an assistant to a street

Together they refine the flavors and ended up developing the Ginger Candies

in its current form. He took over the business after the death of his mentor

and started production of Candies in a small backyard in Pasuruan, East Java

which they specializes in Ginger Candies.

Nowadays, they own two small factories close to Sumatra where they

employ more than 450 workers where some of them are already the third
