NAME:

THE AMRIT BHOWAN MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT.

TOURNAMENT CONSTITUTION.

The name of the Tournament shall be known as the AMRIT BHOWAN MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT.

HEADQUARTERS:

The Headquarters shall be situated

i. To forster and promote the game of soccer, ii. To crate and promote goodwill in the field of sports and

social entertainment.ii. To provide entertainment for the sporting public.iv. To donate any proceeds from the tournament to CHARITABLE

ORGANISATIONS and/or INSTITUTIONS or a scholarship will be sponsored in the name of the FORDSBURG UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB'S LATE CAPTAIN MR. AMRIT BHOWAN, as decided by the TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE.

AFFILIATIONS:

The tournament committe will undertake to issue invitations to clubs.

The tournament committee reserves the right to invite, accept or reject any club.

The affiliation fee for participation will be R20.00. If any club wishes to withdraw from the tournament, such club shall forfeit the affiliation fee to the tournament.

OFFICERS OF THE COMMITTEE;

The officials and members of the committee will comprise of the members elected by the FORDSBURG UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB.

Ail financial transactions will be carried out by the treasurer of the AMRIT BHOWAN MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT and approved of by the FORDSBURG UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB.

The trophies remain the sole property of the AMRIT BHOWAN MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT or failing it, the FORDSBURG UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB.

It shall be the onus of each winning club and prize winningindividual to return the trophy in it’s or his possession to the Secretary of the AMRIT BHOWAN MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT before .the 15th November of the same year.

Each wlnnin.g club or individual is liable for any damages incurred to the trophies, A guarantee to this effect would have to be signed.

REGISTRATION OF PLAYERS:

Each-club will have to submit a list of sixteen registered players to the Secretary of the Tournament Committe on a date specified by the club.

i. The rules of FIFA will be adhered to. ii. Substitutes will be permitted in the first half, only in the event

of injuries, except in the case of a goalkeeper when a substitute may be permitted throughout the match,

iii. Referees and Linesmen, will be provided for by the tournament Committee.

iv. Each club is required to submit a team list to the referee before the match.

PUNCTUALITY>

Each club must ensure to be punctual for all matches.In the event of late arrivals fifteen minutes grace will be allowed after which the delaying club will forfeit the match.

Clubs who arrive after the grace period allowed will have to complete the match but the result will not be taken into consideration.

In the event of a tie the result will be determined by awarding ten minutes extra time each way. If thereafter no decision is reached the result will be determined by awarding three penalties to each side.

Ail clubs will ensure that their players confoi'm to the dress of soccer regulations.

All clubs must dress accoi»ding to their club colours, however if there is a clash colour alternative arrangements wi.'i I he made.
