Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival/ReykjavikWelcome to Iceland! Once you arrive in Keflavik International Airport, you will be welcomed by our private chauffeur who will transfer you to your accommodation in the heart of Reykjavik. In the afternoon you can exploresome landmarks of the city like Perlan building, Hallgrímskirkja Church and Harpa – Music & Conference centre. In the evening, the restaurants of Reykjavik will welcome you and afterwards, the bars are open until 1:00am during week days and 04:00am at the weekend. Overnight in the heart of Reykjavík.

Day 02: A full free day in ReykjavikSpend the day at leisure in the northernmost capital of the world. Go shopping or sightseeing or simply roamaround this small but beautiful city. Stay at the same hotel as the night before.

Day 03: The Golden CircleToday your Iceland travel begins for real! Pick up your rental car in the morning and start your day by driving toÞingvellir National Park. Þingvellir, because of its beauty and its geological and historical value, was accepted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004. This is the site where the Vikings first assembled in ancient times. After exploring the treasures of the park, head south to see Geysir Spouting Spring and Gullfoss waterfall to complete the “Golden Circle”. Enjoy the afternoon seeing the sizzling hot springs and geysers and the force of the great waterfall. Drive to the south coast and stay the night at a hotel/guest house/cottage in the area. Approximate driving distance: 185 km/ 115 miles.

Day 04: The South CoastToday you will head to the famous South of Iceland. After breakfast and packing, drive east to the picturesque waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skógarfoss. Above the waterfalls you can get a glimpse of Eyjafjallajökull where thegreat volcanic eruption took place in 2010. You can even enjoy an optional snowmobile tour on the glacier. Drive along the south shore to Dyrhólaey natural reserve where you can fin d one of the best seabird colonies in Iceland. Dyrhólaey is a 120 meter high headland into the sea and you definitely should hike on it. You stay the night close to Vík and we recommend you an evening walk at the black beach of Vík. Approximate driving distance: 130 km/80 miles.
